dc.description.abstractThe K-12 program and National General Education Curriculum will have attendant effects on the school libraries and academic libraries. Its full implementation will be in 2018. The paper aims to consider scenarios for these type of libraries. Initially it will address scenarios as conversations from the macro level (top government officials), meso level (supervisors and bureau heads) and microlevel (librarians, teachers and students. It will gather scenarios in terms of expectations that will serve as evidence for scenario planning for K-12 libraries and academic libraries in the country. For instance, what will be the nature of collection and services for these libraries. What implications would these have in formulating standards.
